Bharatpur, May 17 -- The body of a 16-year-old boy, Gaurav Kumar Jatav, who drowned in a pond while fishing in Deeg district of Rajasthan, was recovered on Saturday, police said.
The SDRF team along with the Civil Defence team retrieved the body from the pond in Dihara village under Kumer police station after a strenuous effort and handed it over to the police. The body has been kept in the hospital mortuary for post-mortem.
According to reports, Gaurav's father, Mahendra Kumar Jatav, had gone to the pond with his two sons, Pushpendra (18) and Gaurav (16), to fish.
