Bengaluru, Aug. 13 -- Karnataka Congress MLA Kothur Manjunath today strongly defended former Cooperation Minister KN Rajanna, terming his removal from the State Cabinet "unnecessary" and "avoidable," while reiterating that the remarks made by Rajanna on alleged voter list irregularities were based on facts.
Speaking to reporters, Manjunath asserted that Rajanna's statement was "not directed against Rahul Gandhi" or any senior party leader.
