Rajanna alleges big conspiracy behind resignation
Bengaluru, Aug. 11 -- Former Karnataka Cooperation Minister K N Rajanna today said his resignation from the Siddaramaiah Cabinet was the result of a party decision, taken to avoid any embarrassment to the leadership, but alleged that a "large conspiracy" lay behind the move.
Addressing the media after Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot accepted his resignation on the Chief Minister's recommendation, Rajanna said, "This is a party decision. Once the party decides, we accept it as party discipline. At this stage, it is not possible for anyone to question it." He added that he would reveal details of the alleged conspiracy, including who was involved and what transpired, "when the time comes."
