Hyderabad, June 30 -- Gosha Mahal BJP MLA Raja Singh announced his resignation from the party today, citing denial of opportunity and lack of recognition within the party.

Addressing the media in Hyderabad, Raja Singh said he was not allowed to file his nomination for the post of party president, prompting his decision to quit. He stated that he had sent his resignation letter to BJP state president G Kishan Reddy and urged him to forward a letter to the Speaker seeking the cancellation of his MLA status following his departure from the party.
