Jaipur, April 25 -- Amid acrimonious verbal duel between the ruling BJP dispensation and the rival INDIA bloc on the defeat of the Women Quota related Constitutional Amendment Bill, Vice President C P Radhakrishnan today underlined the significance and utility of the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam saying this will transform composition of Legislative Bodies.
Delivering convocation speech at the 35th convocation at the Rajasthan University here, the VP emphasised importance of women's empowerment and took pride in the achievements of women graduates. He noted that a majority of gold medal winners in recent years have been women.
