Sangli, Dec. 14 -- union Minister and Republican Party of India (RPI) leader Ramdas Athawale claimed here on Sunday that if Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray come together, it will lead to a split in Marathi votes in Mumbai, directly benefiting the Mahayuti alliance.

He stated that Uddhav Thackeray should not have made the mistake of aligning with Raj Thackeray, asserting that the MNS chief would not prove beneficial for Uddhav, but instead cause him significant political loss.
