Jaipur, Dec. 17 -- The Rajasthan Government has constituted a five-member committee to look into the possible threats of groundwater contamination and soil pollution due to the discharge of effluents from the proposed Ethanol factory in Rathi-khera village of the Tibbi region in Hanumangarh district.

An official spokesperson said here that the panel, headed by the Divisional Commissioner of Bikaner, comprises the Special Secretary, Forest and Environment Department (Member - Secretary), the District Collector of Hanumangarh, Senior Environment Engineer Pollution Board, and the Chief Engineer, Groundwater Department as members.
