Jaipur, Feb. 11 -- Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari on Wednesday presented a Rs 24,313 crore deficit state budget 2026-27 and dedicated it to the cause of "Service, Security and Good Governance" to all, particularly the weaker sections.

Presenting her third successive budget in the state assembly here, Diya Kumari in her capacity as Finance Minister, said, "The budget size of Rs 6,10,956 crore symbolises our ambition and commitment for the achievement of the goal of Viksit Rajasthan 2047. It is based on the estimation of revenue receipts of Rs 3,25,740.14 crore and revenue expenditure of Rs 3,50,054.07 crore, hence expected to end the fiscal year with a revenue deficit of Rs 24,313.93 lakh."The budget makers have also estimated ...
