Hyderabad, Dec. 4 -- Rajasthan's Power Minister Hiralal Nagar on Thursday announced that the state Cabinet has approved the construction of 2,300 MW power projects - comprising 1,500 MW of solar power and 800 MW of thermal generation- in collaboration with Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) and Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RRVUNL).

Nagar met Telangana Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu at Praja Bhavan and formally handed over the approval letter. During the meeting, both sides discussed the execution plans for the joint power projects.
