Shillong, Aug. 14 -- Meghalaya Governor C.H Vijayashankar today inaugurated an exhibition by various co-operative societies at Raj Bhavan, here.
This marks the first time such an event has been hosted within the Raj Bhavan premises, aimed at showcasing the achievements and entrepreneurial spirit of the state's co-operative sector.
In his address, Vijayashankar expressed appreciation for the initiative, noting the wide range of stalls presented by the co-operative societies.
"This is the first time so many stalls have been set up at Raj Bhavan, and emphasised the importance of continuing such activities to encourage local entrepreneurship," the Governor said.
