Bengaluru, Sept. 22 -- Karnataka BJP President Vijayendra Yediyurappa today said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's latest move to cut Goods and Services Tax (GST) rates showed that "increasing taxes is not a priority for his government; reducing them is."In a statement issued here, Vijayendra described the decision as a landmark reform aimed at easing the burden on farmers, women, youth, the middle class and small traders. He said the measure would simplify the lives of citizens while boosting opportunities for entrepreneurs and strengthening the economy.
