Hamirpur, Sept. 3 -- The loss figure due to heavy rains in Hamirpur has crossed Rs 194 crore, stated Deputy Commissioner, Amarjeet Singh in a statement today.
He said that the Jal Shakti Department has suffered the maximum loss of Rs 94.73 crore, Public Works Department Rs 89.54 crore, Electricity Board Rs 1.83 crore and Education Department Rs 1.85 crore, Health Department Rs 1.5 lakh and Fisheries Department Rs 55 thousand.
The Horticulture Department has sent a report of loss of Rs 18.06 lakh to various crops and the Agriculture Department has sent a report of loss of Rs 1.15 lakh.
