Ch. Sambhajinagar, Oct. 8 -- Weather conditions across Maharashtra have turned unstable due to changing wind patterns and fresh cloud movements, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicting thundershowers in several parts of the state during the ongoing monsoon withdrawal phase.

A yellow alert has been issued for various districts in Konkan, North Madhya Maharashtra, and Marathwada, indicating the likelihood of rain over the next two days.

The IMD has forecast light to moderate rainfall with lightning in several parts of Marathwada between October 8 and 11.
