Bhopal, June 20 -- The southwest monsoon has now covered all districts of Madhya Pradesh, bringing cloudy skies and rain to the entire state, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Friday.
The monsoon entered the state a few days earlier than usual, specifically in the Burhanpur and adjoining districts, and has now spread across the state, the IMD bulletin read.
Rainfall was recorded at various places in Bhopal, Rewa, Jabalpur, and Sagar divisions, with some areas in Narmadapuram and Ujjain divisions receiving more widespread showers during the past 24 hours. The Chambal, Gwalior, and Shahdol divisions also experienced significant rainfall, while other divisions remained relatively dry.
