Pune, Oct. 26 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday said favourable conditions for rainfall have developed across Maharashtra due to the formation of two low-pressure systems - one over the Arabian Sea and another over the Bay of Bengal. Widespread rain is likely to continue till Wednesday across most parts of the state.
According to the IMD, the low-pressure zone over the Arabian Sea is expected to bring heavy rain accompanied by strong winds across Mumbai, the Konkan coast, and parts of central Maharashtra over the next 48 hours.
Meanwhile, the intense low-pressure system in the Bay of Bengal is likely to turn into a cyclone by tomorrow and is expected to make landfall near the Andhra Pradesh coast on Tuesday. This syst...
