Srinagar, April 18 -- Kashmir continued to witness light to moderate rainfall for the second consecutive day, while the fresh western disturbance triggered light snowfall in the higher reaches,officials said on SaturdayAccording to data from the Meteorological Department, precipitation was recorded at several stations across the Valley. Srinagar received around 14.2 mm of rainfall, while Pahalgam reported a similar amount.

The highest rainfall was recorded in north Kashmir, with Kupwara receiving 19 mm, followed by Baramulla at 17 mm. The ski resort of Gulmarg registered 15 mm of rainfall during the same period.
