Ranchi, Oct. 9 -- To manage the festive rush during Diwali and Chhath, Indian Railways has announced a series of special trains from the state's capital Ranchi to various religious destinations across the country.
The move aims to ensure smooth and convenient travel for passengers during the festive season.
A total of seven special trains will be operated on different routes and dates. The Ajmer-Ranchi Puja, Diwali & Chhath Special (09619/09620) will run every Sunday from September 28 to November 30, 2025.
The Ranchi-Anand Vihar Terminal Weekly Diwali/Chhath Special (02877/02878) will operate from October 17 to 31 on Friday, while the return service from Anand Vihar will run from October 19 to November 2 on Sunday.
