New Delhi, Jan. 5 -- Indian Railways has utilised over 80 per cent of its capital expenditure (CAPEX) allocation in the first three quarters of the current financial year. The Ministry of Railways has stated said the bulk of the spending has been directed towards track renewal, signalling upgrades, rolling stock procurement, station redevelopment and network expansion, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring safer, faster and more reliable train services.
