Hyderabad, Oct. 27 -- The Indian Railways has announced large-scale cancellations and diversions of train services in view of the imminent Cyclone 'Montha', prioritising passenger safety across coastal and adjoining regions.

In an official bulletin, South Central Railway (SCR) said multiple express, mail, and passenger trains scheduled for October 28 and 29 have been cancelled or diverted.

Among the major cancellations are Bhubaneswar-Bengaluru (18463), Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad (17015), and Bhubaneswar-Puducherry (20851) services on October 28. The Tatanagar-Ernakulam Express (18189) will be diverted via Titlagarh, Lakholi, Raipur, Nagpur, and Balharshah.
