Chennai, Feb. 18 -- The Southern Railway announced that the RailOne App would be the Unified Platform for passenger servicesand the UTS-on-Mobile App would be decommissioned from March one, 2026 in a phased manner.
In the initial phase, season ticket booking/renewal and new user registration were disabled on the UTS App.
Subsequently, platform ticket booking and R-Wallet top-up functionalities have also been disabled, though the application continues to remain available on the App Store.
It is further clarified that users who download or update the latest version of the UTS App will not be permitted to book platform tickets or recharge the R-Wallet through the UTS App.
