Kolhapur, April 25 -- A sensational action has come to light in the Local Crime Branch (LCB) of Raigad district, as Superintendent of Police Aanchal Dalal today suspended six police personnel on suspicion of serious misconduct and lapses in the investigation into the metal transportation case in a Bolero pickup.
According to the incident, on April 1, 2026, a Mahindra Bolero pickup was found parked suspiciously in the Varasgaon-Kamani area of Roha taluka. About 200 kg of copper and steel metal pieces worth approximately Rs 1 lakh was found in this vehicle. A non-complaint report was registered in this case at Kolad Police Station and further investigation was handed over to the LCB.
