Raigad, Jan. 4 -- The Raigad district police have emerged as the top-performing force in Maharashtra in terms of crime detection, recording a 90 per cent detection rate in 2025, the highest in the state, according to official data released by the police department.
Out of a total of 2,282 criminal cases registered in the district during the year, police successfully cracked 2,064 cases. This marks a three per cent improvement over the previous year, even as the overall crime rate in the district showed a decline.
