New Delhi, Sept. 3 -- Amid the worsening flood situation in Northern India, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi today urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to urgently extend central assistance to affected states.
In a video message, Rahul Gandhi highlighted the severe devastation caused by floods in Punjab, as well as the worsening situation in Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
"Modi Ji, the floods in Punjab have caused massive devastation. The situation is also extremely concerning in Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand," Gandhi said.
