Fatehpur, Oct. 17 -- Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reached Fatehpur today to meet the family of Hariom Valmiki, a Dalit youth who was lynched in Rae Bareli on October 2 over allegations of theft.
The visit, however, stirred political controversy, with the victim's family releasing a video earlier urging Gandhi not to politicize the issue.
Hariom's brother, Shivam, appeared in a video with family members about an hour before Rahul's arrival, stating, "Rahul Gandhi should not come here for politics.
