Kottayam, July 17 -- Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, will inaugurate a state-level memorial meet marking the second death anniversary of former Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy here tomorrow (July 18).
As part of the programme, Rahul Gandhi will hand over the keys of 12 houses, built by the Oommen Chandy Foundation, to underprivileged families. He will also launch various humanitarian initiatives of the KPCC.
During his visit, Rahul Gandhi will offer floral tributes at Oommen Chandy's tomb at St. George Church, Puthuppally.
Following the event, the Congress leader will travel to Thiruvananthapuram in the afternoon to meet senior Congress leader A.K. Antony, before returning to Delhi.
