Guwahati, Aug. 8 -- Taking a potshot on Rahul Gandhi's claim on the Special Intensive Review of the electoral rolls in Bihar, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has indirectly supported the Election Commission of India's move for the Special Intensive Review (SIT) of the electoral rolls in Bihar.
"I welcome that Rahul Gandhi has supported the Election Commission of India after a long time. He himself has admitted that there should be unique number and Adhar number attached to the names of electorates," Sarma said while addressing a press conference.
