New Delhi, July 31 -- Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi today backed US President Donald Trump's remark calling the Indian economy as "dead", and said the whole world knows except for the Prime Minister and Finance Minister.
Responding to a media query in the Parliament House complex, about Trump's "Indian economy is a dead economy" remark, Rahul said, "Yes, he is right. Everybody knows this, except the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister. I'm glad that President Trump has stated a fact."
Notably, Trump on his social media platform said that a trade deal with Pakistan had just been concluded and both countries (India and Russia) could take their ''dead economies'' down together.
