Pune, Dec. 11 -- The hearing in the case filed against Lok Sabha Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi for allegedly insulting Swatantryaveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar was conducted before Justice Amol Shinde in the Pune Court today.
During the proceedings, complainant Satyaki Savarkar, grandnephew of late Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, submitted two pen drives, claiming they contained audio recordings of Rahul Gandhi's alleged defamatory speech delivered in London.
The complainant requested that the court play and examine these recordings.
However, Rahul Gandhi's counsel, Adv. Milind Pawar, strongly objected to the submission of the pen drives at this stage of the hearing.
