Kolkata, April 19 -- Veteran India batsman Ajinkya Rahane has moved to the top of an unwanted list, recording the most ducks by an opener in the history of the Indian Premier League with 12 such dismissals.
Rahane went past former India wicketkeeper-batsman Parthiv Patel, who had 11 ducks while opening the innings in the tournament. The statistic underlines the fine margins faced by top-order batsmen in the high-risk powerplay phase of T20 cricket.
