New Delhi, July 22 -- Rajya Sabha MP and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha has flagged the growing incidence of heart-related ailments and other health complications in the country, particularly in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) today, Chadha highlighted what he termed a "sharp rise" in heart failures and health disorders post-Covid, and called for annual health check-ups to be made a legal right for all Indian citizens.

"I raised a demand in Parliament: Make annual health check-up a legal right of every citizen... "Post Covid-19, we're seeing a sharp rise in heart failures and other health issues. Early detection can save lives," Chadha said.
