New Delhi, April 3 -- A day after being removed as deputy leader of his party in the Rajya Sabha, AAP MP Raghav Chadha on Friday alleged that he was being prevented from raising the voice of the common man and public issues in Parliament.

In a video message, he said that whenever he gets an opportunity to speak in Parliament, he raises issues concerning the people, including topics that are usually not discussed in the House. Questioning the development, he asked whether raising public issues was a crime or if he had made any mistake.

He further claimed that the Aam Aadmi Party had informed the Rajya Sabha Secretariat that he should not be allowed to speak in Parliament and had requested that he be barred from doing so.
