Bengaluru, Oct. 30 -- Senior BJP leader R Ashoka today accused Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of diverting Karnataka's resources to Kerala's Wayanad, which he described as "Priyanka Gandhi's constituency".

In a post on social media platform X, Ashoka alleged that the Chief Minister had sanctioned Rs 10 crore of Karnataka taxpayers' money for Wayanad "at lightning speed" and announced Rs 15 lakh compensation to the family of a man killed by an elephant in that district.

He also charged Siddaramaiah with pledging to build 100 houses in Wayanad following a landslide, while "ignoring the distress of people in Karnataka itself".
