Palakkad, Oct. 16 -- As the court heard arguments from both the prosecution and the defense today, the quantum of sentence of Chenthamara, found guilty in the Sajitha murder case in Nenmara, will be pronounced on Saturday.

The Palakkad Additional District Sessions Court (IV) judge Kennath George had earlier found the accused Chenthamarakshan (58) alias Chenthamara, guilty under various charges, including murder and destruction of evidence on Tuesday. The quantum of punishment will be pronounced on Saturday.

The prosecution demanded that the accused should not be granted parole and that he be sentenced to death.
