Moscow, Dec. 4 -- Russian President Vladimir Putin, discussing the US proposed peace plan for ending the Russia-Ukraine war with US special envoy Steve Witkoff, spoke at length on the plan, with the talks lasting for over five hours.

While the talks were praised by Moscow as productive, with Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov calling them "very useful and substantive," the two sides ultimately could make little progress in the end, after finding themselves at a deadlock over some of the precise wordage of Washington's emerging peace plan, as per state media.
