Bhubaneswar, June 29 -- The election for the Odisha BJP State President and National Council members, which was scheduled to be held on July 1, 2025 has been postponed, the party's State Election Officer and Member of Parliament, Pratap Sarangi, announced on Sunday.
Sarangi said an unfortunate incident occurred in Puri, where three devotees lost their lives and many others are undergoing treatment for injuries.
He stated that the tragedy has deeply shocked and disturbed everyone. "We express our heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased devotees,".
