Puri, Dec. 2 -- Within twelve days of a highway robbery, Puri police arrested four members of a seven-member gang, including the mastermind, Superintendent of Police Pratik Singh said today.

The police recovered gold ornaments, Rs 6 lakh in cash, 30 kg of silver, a gun with live cartridges, and the car used in the robbery.

The accused have been identified as Tuku Naik, the mastermind of the robbery in Biranarasinghpur village; Prasant Pradhan of Puri town; M. Goutam of Vishakhapatnam; and Subhrajit Mohanty, a student of Bhubaneswar. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining three members of the gang.
