Abhijeet ChandraBhopal, Dec. 15 -- Completing two years in office, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav considers purging of naxal menace and successful completion of long disputed Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project water sharing agreement with neighbouring Rajasthan were his government's notable achievements.

While describing his two years' in office as replete with achievements, CM Yadav believes that his dispensation's biggest success was elimination of the red terror scourge in the state.

"Naxalism obstructs development and the common citizen lives in trepidation. In such a situation, uprooting the Maoist menace was the government's foremost priority and notable accomplishment was scored in that direction," he told UNI.
