New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- Popular Punjabi actor and comedian Jaswinder Bhalla, best known for his memorable character of Advocate Dhillon in the Carry On Jatta film franchise, has passed away at the age of 65.

The actor breathed his last at Fortis Hospital in Mohali, with family sources confirming that he succumbed to cardiac arrest at his home. His untimely death has left the Punjabi film and entertainment fraternity in deep shock.

According to reports, "His last rites will take place on Saturday at Balongi.
