Ludhiana, June 13 -- BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh today came down heavily on Punjab's Bhagwant Mann government, berating its "unconstitutional and anti-farmer policies" including the land pooling scheme and demanded it be withdrawn immediately.
During his campaign for the Ludhiana West Assembly bypoll, Chugh met farmer delegations, especially from 37 villages affected by the land pooling scheme. He was handed a detailed memorandum by the farmers, seeking urgent intervention and protection of their land rights.
