Chandigarh, June 4 -- Congress and Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday accused each other of appointing "outsiders" and "hurting" Punjab's pride.
The spat started with the Leader of the Opposition in Punjab Assembly Partap Singh Bajwa, in a social media post, questioning the appointment of Satyendra Jain's PA Shaleen Mitra as OSD to Punjab cabinet minister Balbir Singh.
"Why is Punjab being remote-controlled from Delhi?" he asked.
AAP spokesman Neel Garg, replying to Bajwa, raised the issue of Prashant Kishore's appointment in 2021 as a principal advisor to then Punjab chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh, who is now with BJP.
