Hoshiarpur, June 19 -- A 20-year-old youth was shot dead by unidentified motorcycle-borne assailants near Shahpur Ghata village in Punjab's Hoshiarpur district late last night, police said today.
SP (Inv) Hoshiarpur Mukesh Kumar said the deceased, Aryan of Sehwan village under Garhshankar police station limits, was returning from Ludhiana along with his relative Naveen Kumar (27) of Kokowal Mazari village. Both were travelling in a Swift car after purchasing garments for their shop located at Adda Binewal, he said.
