Phagwara (Punjab), June 11 -- A case of fraud involving Rs 6 lakh has come to light in Kapurthala, where a young man was allegedly duped by travel agents who promised him to send Germany.

The police have registered a case against three accused. However, no arrests have been made so far. Police sources said a complaint was filed by Rulia Ram of Baza village. He alleged that his relative, Angrez Singh of Dhadi Kadim in Jalalabad in district Fazilka, was seeking to travel to Germany. During this time, one Karnadeep Singh introduced them to two travel agents, Sonu Singh and Harbhajan Singh, both of Amritpur village in Talwandi Chaudhariyan.
