Chandigarh, March 4 -- The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB), has arrested a private individual, Dharampal, a resident of Village Asmanpur, Pehowa in Haryana, red handed while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 3 lakh.

An official spokesperson of the state VB said the ccused has been arrested on the basis of a complainant lodged by a resident of the same village.

He further added that the complainant has approached the VB and alleged that he was being harassed and repeatedly summoned to the Patran police station due to a false complaint filed against him by a resident of Patran.
