Chandigarh, Oct. 10 -- In a major step towards digital governance and transparency, Punjab is set to become the first state in India to launch a Unified Citizen Portal, a single-window digital platform providing access to 848 government services across multiple departments.
The initiative, led by the Department of Good Governance and Information Technology (DGGIT), aims to streamline service delivery, reduce paperwork, and enhance public convenience.
