Chandigarh, Nov. 15 -- Strengthening its push to modernise classroom learning, the Punjab Government has flagged off a third group of 72 primary teachers for a 15-day pedagogical training programme to Finland.

The batch comprising BPEOs, Centre Head Teachers, Head Teachers and ETT teachers will undergo training at the University of Turku, known internationally for its progressive teaching frameworks.

Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, speaking at the flag-off ceremony held at MGSIPA, said this third cohort takes the total number of teachers trained in Finland's education ecosystem to 216.
