Chandigarh, April 24 -- The Punjab Police's intensified campaign against organized crime, 'Gangstran Te Vaar,' reached its 94th day on Friday, with law enforcement agencies conducting widespread operations across the state.
Under the directives of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, police teams executed a series of 602 coordinated raids targeting mapped locations and known associates of criminal gangs. This sustained effort, initiated on January 20, 2026, by Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav, aims to eliminate the influence of gangsters in Punjab through rigorous intelligence-led operations managed by the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) in coordination with district police units.
