Chandigarh, Jan. 7 -- Punjab Police have arrested two alleged members of the Khalistan Commando Force (KCF) in Ludhiana, foiling a suspected plan to carry out targeted killings and attacks on government establishments. The arrests were made following specific intelligence inputs, Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav said on Tuesday.

According to the DGP, the State Special Operations Cell (SSOC), SAS Nagar, in coordination with Counter Intelligence Ludhiana, apprehended the two suspects while they were conducting reconnaissance of government and key offices in the city. The accused were allegedly acting on instructions from foreign-based handlers and were in the advanced stages of planning a major incident.
