Chandigarh, March 6 -- Punjab Deputy Director Food and Civil Supplies Rakesh Kumar Singla has been declared proclaimed offender by a lower court here in a case related to the alleged foodgrain transportation scam.
The CJM Court SBS Nagar declared Singh as proclaimed offender in a case related to allotting labour and transportation contracts of food grains in the grain markets of SBS Nagar district.
Earlier, Singla was declared a proclaimed offender by a Ludhiana court in the alleged foodgrain transportation scam unearthed by the Vigilance Beauro in the grain markets of Ludhiana district.
