Chandigarh, March 27 -- Punjab Minister Brindar Kumar Goyal on Thursday strongly rebutted Leader of the Opposition Pratap Singh Bajwa's unnecessary comments against renowned environmentalist Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal.
Speaking during the zero hour in the Legislative Assembly, Goyal said that the Congress Party and its leaders, making disrespectful remarks about Baba Seechewal, should remember that it was the Congress Party's own government which, on December, 2018, issued a notification appointing Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal as a member of the Punjab State Pollution Control Board.
Strongly confronting the Congress members, he questioned why they did not raise questions about Sant Seechewal's capabilities at that time.
