Chandigarh, Oct. 13 -- Continuing its strong drive to clean and rejuvenate Buddha Dariya and resolve the effluent problems of Ludhiana's dyeing industry, the Government of Punjab held a detailed interaction with the Tamil Nadu Water Investment Company (TWIC), for setting up Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) based Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs).

The meeting was held on October 8 at MGSIPA, Chandigarh. TWIC is a joint venture of the Government of Tamil Nadu and IL&FS, known for setting up Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) based Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs) in major textile clusters such as Tirupur and Erode.
